The Esoteric Quarterly is created using Adobe Acrobat 6.0. A compatible Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to read the PDF files. We recommend Acrobat Reader Version 6.0 or 7.0, available free from the Adobe website. If you are unable to read the PDF files, or if the display/print quality is poor, you may be using an old version of the Reader. To obtain a free copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader click on Adobe.
The normal way to download a PDF file is simply to left-click on the appropriate Download link. However, with older browsers this does not always cause Acrobat Reader to be launched. An alternative and more reliable method, if you use Windows, is to right-click on Download and then select "Save target as..." After you have saved the PDF file to your hard disk, you can open it from within Acrobat Reader, or a pop-up screen may prompt you to do this automatically. All PDF files have been screened for viruses.
When viewing pages of the Quarterly on your screen it is better to open Acrobat Reader in a separate window rather than within your browser. To ensure that this happens, open the Acrobat Reader and click on Edit/Preferences/Internet. Deselect "Display PDF in browser," and click OK. Then download the PDF files for viewing.
